OAK SMOKED WHEAT WHISKEY
POT DISTILLED FROM OAK SMOKED WHEAT AND BARLEY.
This whiskey is based on a distiller’s beer called a gratzer. The gratzer is an ancient and unusual oak smoked wheat beer whose history goes back over 600 years. When distilled it makes a flavorful and smoky whiskey. It is special in several ways. It’s a wheat whiskey. Wheat whiskeys are 51% or more wheat by grain bill, and pretty rare these days. It is oak smoked, as opposed to peat. The final whiskey is full of intense smoke flavor.
