Furniture grade indicates that the barrel has been used to its extent (i.e.: missing bung, leaking, cracked wood, etc.) Great for outdoor or indoor end tables and craft projects.

Standard grade indicates that the barrel can be used again. We recommend giving each barrel a water “bath” for re-expansion of the wood before putting another product inside. Great for aging hot sauce, beer, pickling, etc.
